I’m Candace Agans, and I’ve spent more than 25 years helping people navigate the world of travel. Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience in multiple areas of the industry, giving me a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to create seamless and memorable travel experiences.
My journey began at the age of 19 when I started as a Reservations Sales Agent with TWA. From there, I worked in several operational roles at the St. Louis airport, including ticket agent, gate agent, and jetway operator. These positions provided firsthand knowledge of the airline industry and the many details that contribute to a successful travel experience.
Over the years, I’ve traveled extensively, explored a variety of destinations, experienced different cultures, and gained valuable insights that I now use to assist clients and fellow travel professionals. Whether planning a family vacation, a cruise, or a once-in-a-lifetime getaway, I understand the importance of making every journey as smooth and rewarding as possible.
In December 2021, I embarked on my first cruise during a time when the travel industry was facing unprecedented challenges. That experience introduced me to a new side of travel and further expanded my expertise in the cruise industry.
Today, I serve as a Team Lead with Cruise Brothers, where I have the opportunity to mentor aspiring travel advisors and help them build successful businesses of their own. I enjoy sharing my industry knowledge, supporting new agents as they grow, and helping others discover the flexibility and opportunities that a career in travel can provide.
